Since 2023, serving as an advisor at the Cabinet of the Minister of Mines and Energy of Brazil. Prior to this role, accumulated over six years of experience in energy development at the Ministry of Mines and Energy, focusing on renewable energy sources such as wind, solar, and solid waste.
Additionally, his background in the space sector in Brazil includes contributions to the development of public policies and institutional arrangements.
Civil Engineer with a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, specializing in the Aerodynamics of Tall Buildings, and a Ph.D. in Wind Engineering, focusing on the Aerodynamic Phenomena of Long-Span Bridges. Also holds a degree in Precision Mechanics, along with multiple certifications in engineering and information technology.
Throughout his career, Dr. Trein has been involved in academic research, the construction and design of steel structures, and software development for both structural engineering and the mobile phone industry. He has also developed expertise in CAD/CAM, 3D modeling, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, Visual C++, Java, Symbian, ObjectARX, MFC, project management, and wind engineering.
His Ph.D. was awarded by Kyoto University in Japan.
